Live Football: Bologna vs Juventus Coppa Italia live stream info, squads, lineups & TV channels

Bologna were dealt the toughest of R16 draws as they have to battle the reigning champions Juventus for a place in the quarter-final of the competition. Rossoblu will thus continue their streak of tough fixtures as they had to play the likes of Lazio and Napoli in last two league games in 2018. They lost both of mentioned ties, conceding the total of five goals in the process.

The poor streak of two draws and three defeats in last five matches saw Filippo Inzaghi’s men slide down to the 18th place in the Serie A standings. Bologna surprisingly offered a strong resistance against Napoli last time out at Stadio San Paolo. They came back from behind on two occasions, but were unlucky to concede the 88th-minute goal from Dries Mertens who won it for Napoli.

Bologna are winless in last 12 league matches and they will have a mountain to climb to secure another elite class campaign next season.

Bologna vs Juventus Stats

  1. Juventus were the dominant force in the history of head to head games against Rossoblu.
  2. The Old Lady won 29, drew 9 and lost just 2 of 40 ties with Bologna.
  3. Juve claimed a comfortable 2-0 victory when two teams met each other in late-September.
  4. Bianconeri won five in a row against Bologna, four times by at least two goals difference along.

Juve are cruising their way towards title defense in Serie A. They won 17 and drew 2 of 19 games so far in the season and are as many as nine points clear at the very top of the standings thanks to such brilliant record. They did see somewhat of a slide in recent outings, but still managed a streak of three wins and a draw in last four league affairs.

Bianconeri should have plenty of space to deliver in the final third past the struggling defensive line of Bologna’s. The hosts allowed as many as five goals in last two matches. This should really be a one-way street for the defending champions.

Today’s Possible XI

Bologna: Skorupski; De Maio, Danilo, Helander; Mattiello, Orsolini, Pulgar, Svanberg, Dijks; Palacio, Santander.

Juventus: Szczesny; De Sciglio, Rugani, Chiellini, Alex Sandro; Pjanic, Emre Can, Matuidi; Dybala, Mandzukic, Ronaldo.
