Live Football: Korea vs Philippines AFC Asian Cup live streaming info, squads, lineups & TV channels

South Korea open their Asian Cup campaign as they meet Philippines for their clash on Monday afternoon, coming off as heavy favourites to secure important points despite their struggles to lift their team spirits through friendlies over the past couple of months.

Taegeuk Warriors haven’t suffered a loss in any of their last seven outings but we have only seen them earn draws against Panama, Australia, and Saudi Arabia since mid-October, only beating Uzbekistan in a more convincing display in Brisbane. Paulo Bento will now want more and impressing in Dubai will be a crucial task.

Philippines have seen a similar streak with a more lenient schedule but they’ve seen it ended by Vietnam in early December, suffering three consecutive losses to the rivals despite finding the net on all of the occasions. They will want to look for their chances in Dubai but it’s hard to see them damage South Korea at this point, despite their solid goalscoring records of recent.

Korea vs Philippines Stats

  1. Interestingly, this will be the sides’ first head-to-head clash ever.
  2. South Korea come as heavy favourites with more depth in quality and greater ambitions.
  3. Both sides have been scoring (and conceding) numbers of goals – where Philippines did that in five of their last six outings and South Korea in three of their respective last five.

We will now back South Korea to turn another thrilling contest their way at Rashid Al-Maktoum Stadium, as we go for a Home win & a YES on Both teams to score at 5.50. We hope to see them overpowering but we do feel Philippines will be able to find the net as well!

With that in mind, it’s now easy to expect this to turn into a high-scoring clash and we’ll thus also back Over 2.5 goals FT at 1.50, which has been rated buying money by many value seekers and now seems well worth picking up.
